Mathematics teacher (ages 7–20) Specialist in gifted learners (HPI = “haut potentiel intellectuel”) and learning differences (incl. dyscalculia and school phobia or maths anxiety) - IT teacher. International experience
About
For over twenty years I’ve helped students move from “blocked” to “confident” in math. I began in 2001 as a primary teacher, then taught mathematics in middle school, high school, and vocational tracks. I spent three years in Oxford (UK) at the European school (Preparing the challenging european baccalaureate), teaching students from diverse nationalities and refining flexible, international-minded methods. For the past five years, I’ve been teaching in a selective independent school dedicated to gifted (HPI) and “dys” profiles, including learners with dyscalculia and school anxiety.

Teaching experience
2001 → today: 20+ years teaching math across primary, middle, high school and vocational tracks including 3 years at the European School in the UK.
Since 2020 : Ecole Michelet in Nice : Independent school for gifted & “dys” learners (last 5 years): daily work with HPI profiles, dyscalculia, and school anxiety.
Private tutoring / “Explique-moi les maths”: long-term support for learners 7–20, primarily online for mobility and time-zone needs of expatriate families.
Teaching methods
Parents value my calm structure, clear explanations with predictable routines that lower cognitive load and anxiety. This unables steady, measurable progress. Basically from solid foundations to exam readiness for your child.
Students value my fun explanations and understanding, my "why and how" we do things in such a way. I relate maths to everyday life cases or situations to make it more accessible.
My experience across French and UK systems helps me adapt to mixed educational backgrounds often seen in expatriate families.
