My name is Vanessa, and I recently completed the International Baccalaureate. Having experienced the IB myself, I understand how demanding it can be to balance essays, exams, internal assessments, deadlines and personal pressure. This allows me to support students with both academic guidance and practical study strategies.

My teaching style is patient, personalized and encouraging. I like to understand each student’s needs first and then adapt the lessons to their goals. I use past papers, practice exams, teacher-graded examples and structured revision techniques to help students understand what strong answers look like.

My goal is to make students feel more confident, organized and prepared, while creating a supportive space where they can ask questions freely and improve step by step.

My teaching approach is personalized, structured, and encouraging. I usually begin with a free introductory session to understand the student’s needs, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. From there, I adapt each lesson to what the student needs most, whether that is content review, essay structure, source analysis, revision planning, or exam technique.

For History, I focus on building strong arguments, using evidence effectively, and improving Paper 1 and Paper 2 skills. For English Language and Literature, I help students analyze texts more deeply, organize their ideas, and write clearer essays. For Spanish, I focus on grammar, vocabulary, fluency, text types, and confidence in writing and speaking.
