I am an engineering professional with a passion for education, specifically focused on sparking curiosity and interest in STEM subjects. With over three years of tutoring experience, I support children aged 3–16 in both English and Maths, building strong foundations and confidence in their learning. I also specialise in 11+ tuition, helping students prepare thoroughly for entrance exams and achieve places at grammar schools. As a proud advocate for STEM, I love helping young minds discover that maths can be engaging, logical, and even fun.

I have three years of tutoring experience at a nationwide tuition centre in the UK where I provided face to face and online english and math tuition. I also have experience in one to one and small group 11+ entrance exam preparation tuition delivered face to face and online. I was responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering lessons weekly and homework marking. I also monitored individual students' progress and provided feedback each term.

Other experience also included supporting GCSE Maths students to prepare for exams by creating a personalised plan to ensure all topics are covered, past paper practice, exam practice and helpful tips to build confidence in students.

My approach is fully tailored to each student, starting with identifying their individual strengths and areas for improvement. I take the time to discover the teaching methods and learning styles that work best for them, ensuring every session stays engaging and enjoyable rather than repetitive or stressful. Progress is closely monitored throughout, allowing me to adapt and refine a personalised schedule that targets each student's specific needs and goals — whether that's closing gaps in learning, preparing for exams, or providing broader extracurricular support. This flexible, student-centred approach helps build both skill and confidence over time.
