IB, GCSE & A-Level Chemistry Educator | Tailoring to Your Pace and Closing Learning Gaps
About
As an active MYP Coordinator and Science educator, I specialize in teaching Chemistry and Integrated Sciences across the GCSE, IGCSE, MYP, DP, and A-Level curricula. Over the years, both in the classroom and through remote tutoring platforms, I have supported a diverse range of international students in preparing for their rigorous assessments.
Outside of the classroom and tutoring sessions, I am a strong advocate for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I stay active and energized through regular CrossFit and gym training. I also enjoy spending time experimenting in the kitchen, specifically baking macro-friendly, high-protein treats, which often proves that a love for chemistry naturally translates into a love for precise baking!
I look forward to bringing this same energy, patience, and analytical approach to our tutoring sessions to help students achieve their academic goals.
Teaching experience
I have extensive experience in international education, balancing both academic leadership and dedicated classroom instruction. Currently, I serve as an MYP Coordinator and IB Science & Math Facilitator. In these roles, I spearhead interdisciplinary curriculum planning, implement inquiry-based instruction that connects science to real-world applications, and lead peer-training initiatives for faculty. Previously, as a Chemistry Faculty & Subject Lead for IB MYP and DP Sciences, I developed comprehensive chemistry curricula, designed a robust hands-on experimental programme, and guided students through complex Internal Assessments, Community Projects, and Personal Projects.
In addition to my in-school roles, I have sustained a successful remote tutoring practice since 2021. Working independently and with established organizations like Baccalytics and Lanterna Education, I have delivered highly targeted one-on-one and small-group tuition in Chemistry, Integrated Sciences, and Mathematics. My tutoring spans multiple rigorous assessment frameworks, including IB (MYP and DP), IGCSE, and A-Levels.
Across all my teaching and tutoring work, my core philosophy relies on truly understanding a student's individual pace, accurately identifying their learning gaps, and focusing heavily on targeted practice to ensure steady progress. This adaptable approach allows me to effectively support a wide variety of learners, and in my daily practice, I routinely work with special educational needs students parallel to mainstream students to ensure every learner achieves their highest potential.

Who I am & My Students
I am an active MYP Coordinator and Science educator specializing in Chemistry and Integrated Sciences. I tutor students across the GCSE, IGCSE, MYP, DP, and A-Level curricula. My students range from ambitious learners aiming for top exam grades to those who need foundational support, and I routinely work with special educational needs students parallel to mainstream learners.
My Techniques & Lesson Structure
My instructional method is highly adaptable and completely student-centered. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, my core philosophy is understanding your unique learning pace, accurately identifying your specific knowledge gaps, and focusing heavily on targeted practice. A typical lesson involves breaking down complex topics—such as electrochemistry, redox titrations, or organic synthesis—into clear, step-by-step concepts. Once the foundation is set, we immediately transition into guided, exam-style practice to reinforce the material and build exam readiness.
My Characteristics as a Tutor
I am patient, empathetic, and highly supportive. My goal is to create a comfortable, low-pressure environment where students feel safe making mistakes and asking questions. Because of my extensive experience managing diverse classrooms and online tutoring sessions, I can quickly adjust my explanations and teaching style to suit exactly how a student learns best, helping them build genuine competence and confidence

Getting to know him
Outside of the classroom, I prioritize a balanced lifestyle to stay energized and focused. I am a regular at the gym, and I love unwinding by reading or expressing my creative side through writing poetry in my native language. I also dabble in watercolor painting, though I am the first to admit I am absolutely terrible at it! I love spending my holidays in the mountains. I find that embracing new hobbies, especially the ones I struggle with, keeps me grounded and constantly reminds me of what it feels like to be a beginner, which directly fuels the patience and empathy I bring to my students.
