I am a former UK Headteacher with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and recognition as an Advanced Skills Teacher (AST). I specialise in building confidence and securing strong outcomes in GCSE and IGCSE Maths. I enjoy working with families and students who benefit from clear explanations, structured support, and a calm, encouraging approach. Outside tutoring, I’m interested in leadership development, culture and ethos in schools, and supporting young people to thrive academically and personally.

I have been teaching for over 20 years in a variety of schools from ages 8 - 18, covering primary examinations, GCSE/IGCES and A Levels.

My lessons focus on strengthening core understanding, modelling problem‑solving strategies, and practising exam‑style questions in manageable steps. I use quick diagnostic checks to identify gaps, teach concepts in a clear and accessible way, and build students’ confidence through guided practice and positive reinforcement.

As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and highly organised. I specialise in helping students who need reassurance, structure, and someone who believes in their potential.
