UK Qualified English Teacher | Specialist in KS3, GCSE and Building Exam Confidence
About
Hi, I'm Ribha, a UK-qualified English teacher with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English Literature and Language as per the British Curriculum.
I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence and ability, whether it's support with catching up, stretching to higher grades or easing anxiety around English. I believe every student can succeed when teaching is personalised, encouraging and structured to their needs. I hold a degree in English Literature and have a genuine love for the subject that I wish to impart to my students.
Alongside academic performance, I aim to build independence, resilience and confidence. I have worked with a wide range of abilities and understand the need for patience, clarity and positive rapport.
I look forward to helping your child thrive in English.

Teaching methods
I have worked across a number of secondary schools in the UK, teaching English to a wide range of abilities. My lessons are calm, engaging and tailored to each learner. I can recognise each student's strengths, gaps and learning style and tailor lessons according to their specific goals and needs.
I focus on comprehension, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, literary analysis and exam technique. I break complex skills into manageable steps, provide clear explanations and guided practice to build confidence. Regular feedback and progress tracking helps students see progress and stay motivated.
Above all, I aim to make students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks and build a positive relationship with learning.
