About
🔬 Strong scientific foundation
Academic training in natural sciences, combined with project experience across renewable energy technologies and semiconductor manufacturing industry, enables confident teaching of conceptual understanding, modelling, and scientific reasoning.
⚡What drives me
I believe science education is a tool for agency.
When individuals understand how natural systems, energy, technology, and human choices are interconnected, they realise that the future is not fixed. It is something they can actively shape — through informed choices and shared responsibility.
I speak
Teaching experience
I am an international science tutor with a background in *physics, energy systems*, and *engineering* education. I teach IB Primary (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) primarily in Integrated Sciences, and STEM-related subjects, as well as guiding Diploma Programme (DP) students in Physics, supporting learners with diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
Teaching methods
- ⚙️ Applied, interdisciplinary mindset
- I bridge academic science with real-world applications, encouraging learners to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, and consider ethical dimensions of scientific progress
- 🎯 My lessons focus on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I help students build strong mental models, connect theory to real-world systems, and develop exam literacy, problem-solving strategies, and scientific thinking required by the IB framework.
- 💡I design learning experiences that integrate:
- Interdisciplinary & systems thinking (energy, ecosystems, technology, human choice)
- Formative assessment and feedback to support growth and metacognition
