I have been working in IB schools for more than 10 years, teaching MYP and DP English Language and Literature, English B, and Theory of Knowledge, and have taken on the leadership roles of Diploma Coordinator, Extended Essay Coordinator, TOK Coordinator, and Head of English. I have been an IBDP English examiner since 2018, marking the Individual Oral and Paper 2, and have been an English and TOK tutor since 2020.

I've been teaching IBDP English since 2016, after teaching IBMYP English from 2009-16. I became a DP English examiner in 2018, an examiner team leader in 2019, and I started teaching TOK in 2019. I am currently the DP Coordinator and the TOK Coordinator.

I am very much focused on helping students with whatever they need help with, and in whatever way they need help. That's why my first two questions for my students are always some variation on: "What do you want to work on, and how do you want to work on it?" And if a student doesn't know how to answer those questions, I have plenty of suggestions that will help them find the answer. I love tutoring because students learn so much from it. One-on-one teaching is the best way to help students develop or improve their knowledge and skills, which is why I constantly offer students at my school lunchtime and after-school tutoring.
