Teaching experience
Started volunteering work in 2019 teaching English to children in orphanages and special schools.
After returning to in-person teaching, began conducting IGCSE Math and Physics remedial lessons for struggling students.
During my IBDP year 2, informally taught Math to year 1 IBDP students as part of my CAS experience.
Teaching methods
I'm a rather relaxed and flexible person, so no lessons are set in stone and/or are rigid. Lessons are rather tailored based on the characteristics of the student.
Generally, a class will go as follows:
Q&A on previous topic/lesson
Teaching and exploring concept 1 of current lesson --> Going over practice/sample problems on concept 1
Teaching and exploring concept 2 of current lesson --> Going over practice/sample problems on concept 2
...
Going over practice/sample problems on all concepts taught during the lesson
Provide resources for studying (youtube videos, websites, etc.) and more practice questions
