Teaching methods
When it comes to language teaching I prefer to use the following methods:
1. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)
• Focuses on real-life communication rather than just grammar.
• Activities: role plays, interviews, debates, problem-solving tasks.
• Students practice fluency, not just accuracy.
2. Task-Based Learning (TBL)
• Students complete meaningful tasks using English.
• Examples: planning a trip, designing a poster, solving a mystery.
• Language is learned through “doing” rather than memorizing.
3. The Natural Approach
• Focus on listening and comprehension first.
• Speaking comes later when students feel ready.
• Similar to how children learn their first language.
