Native English tutor, bilingual EN/FR, supporting international students aged 10-19 with structure, confidence and exam success.
About
I am a native English speaker, fluent in French, with notions of Spanish, Italian, and Malayalam, and over twenty years of experience teaching students aged 10 to 19 in a wide range of international academic settings.
I grew up on a horse ranch in the United States, an experience that shaped my values of responsibility, perseverance, and respect for individual learning rhythms. Since then, I have lived and taught in four different countries, immersing myself in their languages and cultures. It all started in my junior year, when I studied abroad in Spain. After graduating, I lived in Italy for over a year teaching Business English. Then, I moved to Paris, where I taught English to professionals, led seminars, and worked closely with executives in international companies for fifteen years. After that, I lived in India, where I taught English to students from 6th to 12th grade following the Cambridge curriculum. Finally, I returned to France and have been teaching middle school, IB, BAC, BTS, and Work Ready and BAC Buster Workshops.
Parents appreciate my structured yet caring approach. I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel understood and encouraged, while also being guided with clarity and high expectations. My experience with BAC, IB, BTS, and Cambridge curricula allows me to adapt easily to each student’s academic pathway and needs.

Teaching experience
I have over twenty years of experience teaching middle and high school students (ages 11–19) within international and bilingual education systems. I taught grades 7 to 12 in a Cambridge International curriculum, working with both first and second language English students and supporting their academic progress and exam confidence.
Alongside classroom teaching, I design and lead targeted workshops in Paris, including BAC Buster sessions focused on exam strategies, oral performance, and stress management, as well as Work Ready Skills workshops helping older students develop presentation, interview, and communication skills.
I also integrate my background in the performing arts—having written and directed plays, and guided students in poetry writing and recitation—to help students develop clarity of expression, pronunciation, and confidence when speaking.
I support students preparing for the Baccalauréat (including American BAC), IB, BTS, and Cambridge pathways.
Students and parents alike value my ability to combine structure, encouragement, and creativity in a calm environment that supports both academic success and personal growth.
Teaching methods
My teaching adapts naturally to each stage of a student’s growth, always with care and attentiveness. With middle school students (ages 10–14), I take time to build strong foundations and confidence in a calm, encouraging environment where they feel safe to ask questions and express themselves. As students move into lycée and prépa levels (ages 15–19), I guide them toward greater independence, helping them organize their ideas, refine their expression, and prepare thoughtfully for BAC, IB, and Cambridge.
At every age, I aim to create a supportive space where students feel confident and motivated. Both students and parents appreciate the steady guidance, reduced stress, and growing confidence.
