As a French-American bilingual and bicultural educator, I support students through an approach that combines high expectations, kindness and personalised learning.

Holding a PGCEi (University of Nottingham) and a Master of Education specialising in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I have taught in both French and international educational settings, from early years through lower secondary, as well as providing one-to-one tuition.

Having grown up and worked across both French and American cultures, I understand the challenges that can arise when students transition between languages, curricula and different approaches to learning. I help students strengthen their understanding, develop independence and build the confidence they need to thrive throughout their educational journey.

My background in inclusive education enables me to adapt my teaching to each child's individual strengths and needs, whether the goal is to consolidate learning, develop effective study skills or rediscover the enjoyment of learning.

Enseignante franco-américaine bilingue et biculturelle, j’accompagne les élèves avec une approche à la fois exigeante, bienveillante et personnalisée.

Titulaire d’un PGCEi (University of Nottingham) et d’un Master of Education spécialisé en éducation inclusive (SEND), j’ai enseigné dans des contextes français et internationaux, de la maternelle au collège, ainsi qu’en accompagnement individuel.

Ayant moi-même évolué entre les cultures française et américaine, je comprends particulièrement les défis que représentent les changements de langue, de curriculum et de méthodes d’apprentissage. J’aide les élèves à développer leur compréhension, leur autonomie et leur confiance afin qu’ils puissent réussir durablement dans leur parcours scolaire.

Mon expertise en éducation inclusive me permet d’adapter mon enseignement aux besoins spécifiques de chaque enfant, qu’il s’agisse de consolider les acquis, de développer des méthodes de travail ou de retrouver le plaisir d’apprendre.

I then tailor my teaching to the student's profile, focusing on conceptual understanding, the development of independence, effective study skills and self-confidence.

When a student is transitioning between educational systems (French, British, American or IB), I identify the differences in curriculum, expectations and learning approaches, as well as any gaps or existing strengths, to ensure a smooth and confident transition.

Chaque accompagnement débute par un échange avec la famille et l’élève afin de comprendre ses besoins, son parcours scolaire, ses objectifs et sa manière d’apprendre.

J’adapte ensuite mon enseignement au profil de l’élève en privilégiant la compréhension des concepts, le développement de l’autonomie, des méthodes de travail efficaces et de la confiance en soi.

Lorsque l’élève change de curriculum (français, britannique, américain ou IB), j’identifie les différences de fonctionnement, les éventuelles lacunes et les compétences déjà acquises afin de faciliter une transition progressive et sereine.
