Hello there! My name is Francisca, and I’m Chilean. I’m an English and French into Spanish translator, and I also hold a diploma in French as a Foreign Language. I am proficient in both French and English, and Spanish is my native language.

I started giving Spanish lessons online three years ago. Last year, I taught Spanish at a high school in New Caledonia as part of a cultural exchange program.

I also teach French, which is my favorite language, and I would be happy to help you with English as well.

The most significant teaching experience I have had was last year in New Caledonia. I participated in a cultural exchange program on this French island in the Pacific, where I taught Spanish to teenagers in a high school. It was very challenging for me to teach in a classroom for the first time, standing in front of 20 young students who were taller than me.

However, I managed very well by creating engaging and interactive activities designed to improve their speaking skills. Instead of focusing only on textbooks, I chose to bring energy and creativity into the classroom. We practiced real conversations and explored Latin American culture together. The students were curious and enthusiastic, they loved discovering the musicality of Latin Spanish, and I loved sharing my language and culture with them. It was such a meaningful experience that taught me a great deal and inspired me to develop new teaching methods.

Before and after this experience, I have been teaching Spanish and English online through one-to-one tailored lessons, mainly focusing on speaking and listening skills.
My goal is always the same: to create a supportive environment where students feel safe enough to step into the character of the language, and truly make it their own.

I truly believe that learning a language means stepping into its "character". A language is more than grammar and vocabulary, it has its own rhythm, logic, and personality. To feel confident speaking it, you need to understand how native speakers think, express emotions, and structure their ideas. In my classes, we work not only on correctness, but on sounding natural and authentic.

Pronunciation is also key. Each language uses different muscles, intonation patterns, and musicality. Through guided listening, repetition, and practical exercises, I help you train your ear and your speech so that you gradually embody Spanish, not just translate into it. When thought, sound, and expression align, you stop feeling like an outsider and start feeling at home in the language.
