With 17 years of teaching experience and a degree in Mathematics and Biology, I love helping students see the logic and beauty in math. Six years ago, my husband, two daughters, and I made the exciting move to Italy, settling in Rome. Since moving here, I’ve had the privilege of teaching iGCSE and IB mathematics at two of Rome's top international schools—St. George’s British International School and St. Stephen’s School.

Whether guiding advanced IB students or working one-on-one with those looking to boost their confidence, my goal is always the same: to create a warm, supportive space where math anxiety disappears, mistakes are welcomed as part of learning, and every student feels empowered to succeed.

My mathematics teaching approach transforms abstract concepts into intuitive tools through conceptual understanding and real-world application. Rather than emphasizing memorization, I guide students to grasp the logic behind procedures. By adapting to individual learning styles and normalizing mistakes as vital learning opportunities, I foster a low-pressure environment. This approach reduces math anxiety, builds confidence, empowers students to take ownership of their learning, and equips them with strong problem-solving skills they can independently apply in the classroom.
