I’m currently pursuing my studies at ESSEC Business School in Singapore, and I’m interested in aiding children develop self-assurance in their abilities. I’ve completed my education in a very competitive environment, and I understand that class can be very difficult at times, but I have also witnessed firsthand how enjoyable, straightforward, and fulfilling it can be with the proper guidance.

When I was in France, I helped a 5eme ( 13 years old ) student which had some difficulties. Over time with practice, encouragement and regular lessons he succeeded in overcoming his challenges and was able to improve his scores. The results, however, weren’t the only benefit according to him; he also gained confidence and didn’t feel like such a struggle anymore.

I think every student can be successful at in class with the right help. I know from first hand experience that a little bit of compassion and inspiration can go a long ways. I had a personal tutor myself. Teaching-wise, I use the exact same process. I focus on the problem areas which need the most work. I dissect all the concepts and present them in a step-by-step process, going according to the pace of the child. I work to make class no longer seem such a darkness dwelling monster, but a friend that you have on your side by increasing performance, self confidence, and giving the student a sense of familiarity.
