About

I’m a Chemistry tutor with 4 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Jagiellonian University in Poland and experience preparing students for the Polish Matura and IB Chemistry.

I help students understand challenging chemistry concepts, practise exam-style questions and prepare confidently for their exams. I currently work with students at both IB Chemistry SL and HL levels.

I teach in English, Polish and Russian, and I’m happy to adapt lessons to each student’s level, goals and learning style.

Chemistry

I have 4 years of experience tutoring Chemistry and have worked with 50+ students preparing for the Polish Matura and IB Chemistry (SL & HL). My students have achieved results of up to 97% in their Chemistry exams, and I have received many positive reviews from students and parents.

Teaching methods

My lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s needs.

During the first lesson, we assess the student’s current level, discuss their goals and create a plan for our work. Each lesson is based on an active dialogue: we discuss the topic together, clarify difficult concepts and then apply them by solving exam-style questions, mainly from past papers.

I use an interactive online whiteboard, which allows us to work through problems together in real time. I also pay attention to common mistakes and gaps in understanding, so that we can focus our time on the areas that need the most improvement.
