Teaching methods

I approach teaching by placing myself in the shoes of the student. While we tutors have a broad perspective on the subject, the student's mind is a blank canvas. I try to get down to the level of the students, whereby we approach the solution together rather than me having to explain it to them. This way, the student gets the chance to think and investigate the mechanism, allowing them to not only develop independent thinking faculties, but also get the satisfaction and joy of these micro-achievements.
