I am a third-year student in the Global BBA program at ESSEC, currently on a one-year academic exchange at Bocconi University in Milan. I obtained a French baccalauréat with a European section in Economic and Social Sciences, with honors, and specialties in Mathematics, Economic and Social Sciences (SES), and English for the Contemporary World. I have always excelled in SES, with an annual average above 17/20 and a score of 18/20 on the final exam, reflecting my strong interest in the subject and the positive influence of my teacher, whose teaching method greatly contributed to my success. In Mathematics, I maintained an average of 16/20 throughout my first year at ESSEC, in algebra as well as in function analysis and statistics. To date, I have accumulated more than fifty hours of private tutoring and have supported three different students in French, English, and Mathematics, mainly at the high school level. I have always enjoyed helping struggling classmates, a habit I developed back in high school. This passion for sharing knowledge stems from my natural curiosity and my deep desire to learn from others as much as to share my own knowledge.

Je suis un étudiant de 3eme année au sein du programme Global BBA de l’ESSEC, et actuellement en échange académique d’un an à l’Université Bocconi à Milan. J’ai obtenu un baccalauréat section européenne en Sciences Économiques et Sociales, avec mention, et des spécialités en Mathématiques, SES et Anglais Monde Contemporain. J’ai toujours excellé en SES, avec une moyenne annuelle supérieure à 17 et une note de 18 à l’épreuve finale, témoignant de mon intérêt marqué pour la matière et de l’influence positive de mon professeur, dont la méthode d’enseignement a largement contribué à ma réussite. En Mathématiques, j’ai maintenu une moyenne de 16 tout au long de ma première année à l’ESSEC, aussi bien en algèbre qu’en analyse de fonctions et en statistiques. À ce jour, j’ai cumulé plus d’une cinquantaine d’heures de cours particuliers et accompagné trois élèves différents, en français, en anglais et en mathématiques, principalement au niveau lycée. J’ai toujours aimé aider mes camarades en difficulté, une habitude développée dès le lycée. Cet attrait pour la transmission du savoir trouve son origine dans ma curiosité naturelle et mon profond désir d’apprendre des autres autant que de partager mes connaissances.

For a little more than two and a half years, I have been giving private lessons alongside my studies. I have supported four middle school and high school students in Mathematics, French, and English, for a total of about 65 hours of tutoring. Beyond academic results, this experience has taught me above all to adapt to each student, to understand their difficulties, and to find the right way to explain things in order to restore confidence and motivation. Watching progress build session after session is what makes this experience particularly rewarding for me.

Depuis un peu plus de deux ans et demi, je donne des cours particuliers à côté de mes études. J’ai accompagné quatre élèves de collège et de lycée en mathématiques, en français et en anglais, pour un total d’environ 65 heures de tutorat. Au-delà des résultats scolaires, cette expérience m’a surtout appris à m’adapter à chaque élève, à comprendre ses difficultés et à trouver la bonne manière d’expliquer pour redonner confiance et motivation. Voir les progrès se construire séance après séance est ce qui rend cette expérience particulièrement enrichissante pour moi.

I base my working method on practice and application to concrete cases. Thanks to the teaching of many excellent teachers and my own experience, I have observed that this approach greatly enhances understanding and memorization, particularly in subjects with a strong theoretical dimension such as mathematics.

Je base ma méthode de travail sur la pratique et l’application à des cas concrets. Grâce à l’enseignement de nombreux professeurs d’excellence et à mon propre parcours, j’ai pu constater que cette approche favorise grandement la compréhension et la mémorisation, en particulier dans des disciplines à forte dimension théorique comme les mathématiques.
