About
I’m a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Computing, a PGCE, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Alongside teaching Computer Science in schools, I tutor KS1 and KS2 pupils in Maths and English, helping them develop confidence and achieve their full potential. My English tutoring includes reading, comprehension, vocabulary development, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and writing skills, while my Maths lessons focus on building strong foundations through clear, engaging explanations. I tailor every lesson to each child’s individual needs, creating a positive and supportive environment where learning is enjoyable and confidence can grow.

Teaching experience
I am a qualified teacher with over five years of teaching experience across the UK and the UAE, working with children from primary through to secondary school. My experience has given me a strong understanding of the British curriculum and how to adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
I specialise in tutoring KS1 and KS2 Maths and English, helping children build confidence and develop the core skills they need to succeed. In English, I support pupils with reading, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, writing, and phonics where appropriate. In Maths, I focus on developing number fluency, arithmetic, reasoning, problem-solving, and the key concepts needed for success in the classroom.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual child, using clear explanations, engaging activities, and plenty of encouragement to make learning enjoyable. Whether a pupil needs extra support, wants to build confidence, or is aiming to work at greater depth, I provide a patient and supportive environment where they can thrive and make steady progress.
