Multilingual Math Tutor (EN, RU, LV, IT) · 3 Years Experience · Exam Prep (790 SAT) · Middle & High School
About
I am a Bachelor of Science student in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pavia with a passion for making mathematics clear, intuitive, and accessible. Scoring in the top 1% globally on the SAT Math section (790/800) and achieving 95% on the Higher Level State Examination, I have spent the last 3 years helping students unlock their academic potential.
My tutoring focuses on bridging the gap for students navigating high-stakes international curriculums, specifically British IGCSE/GCSE, standard A-Levels, and the Digital SAT. Because I am fully bilingual in English (IELTS 8.0) and Russian, alongside fluent Latvian and B2 Italian, I can explain complex mathematical theory in a student’s native language before seamlessly connecting it to the required English exam terminology.
Whether a student is aiming for top marks in school or preparing for competitive university tracks, I provide the exact analytical tools and test-taking logic they need to succeed.

Mathematics
Over the past 3 years, I have successfully tutored more than 15 middle and high school students in mathematics. My experience includes preparing younger students for competitive gymnasium entrance exams, as well as guiding older students through their mandatory 9th and 12th-grade state examinations.
In the high school bracket, I teach both the foundational Standard Level (SL) framework and the demanding Higher Level (HL) tracks. My track record features helping students bridge learning gaps to achieve 80%+ on final exams.
While my foundational experience is rooted in the rigorous Latvian curriculum, my personal mastery of the international SAT format allows me to seamlessly transfer these exam strategies and analytical skills to students taking British or American tracks.
Teaching methods
My lessons are built completely around the individual student's needs, knowledge gaps, and curriculum goals. I use a modern, digital-first approach structured around three core pillars:
1. Personalized Miro Spaces: I design every lesson individually on Miro.com. Each student gets access to their own dedicated, permanent virtual whiteboard space where we collaborate live and store all past topics, problems, and homework for easy review.
2. Strategic Tooling & Desmos: I teach students how to work smart, not just hard. I show them how to manipulate and use their official exam formula sheets to their absolute advantage, and I integrate Desmos graphing demonstrations to make abstract functions and equations instantly visual.
3. Curriculum-Aligned Pacing: Whether a student needs a foundational review or advanced exam practice, we tackle the specific topics required by their syllabus at a pace that builds genuine confidence and eliminates test anxiety.
