Teaching experience
1 to 3 years of teaching
Teaching primary students in life and earth sciences, particularly life sciences, using engaging explanations and activities to strengthen their understanding of the human body, animals, plants and ecosystems, and helping students become more confident in answering science questions.
I have had students show more engagement and productivity on class after understanding the concepts.
Helping primary students improve their understanding and confidence in mathematics, with a focus on topics such as fractions, multiplication, division and problem-solving. Students have shown stronger understanding of key concepts, improved accuracy in solving questions, and greater confidence in explaining their answers.
Teaching methods
My method involves first explaining what the concept is and why we use it, I make it a conversation so that the child can give input and be immersed.
When solving questions, I demonstrate and offer guidance to questions if needed and I can alter explanations into simpler language.
If questions seem too easy, I will increase the difficulty, if they seem too hard, I will simplify them first so that the child can grasp the basic concept before moving to a more complex one.
