I do not have official teaching experience as I have just graduated but I have helped teach many of my peers during my time taking IB.

I believe active recall is the most effective method for success at Chemistry, Math and Biology at any level, but especially in IB because of its rigour. My lesson structure will be focused around a topic that the student chooses, we will first go over all the content in depth making sure to cover each point in the syllabus for that unit. I will also help the student make notes/flashcards as we do this. Once this is finished I will give the student a variety of exam styled questions which will allow them to apply the content they have just learnt into an exam based format, we will break down each question the student cannot do and link it back to the theory for better understanding. Some lessons will be content heavy and some will be exam question heavy depending on what the student needs and whay did with the student in prior lessons
