Emlyon Business School Graduate · Experienced Multilingual Tutor & Childcare Leader (Primary to High School)
About
Hello! I am a Master in Management graduate from Emlyon Business School with solid experience in private tutoring and youth mentoring.
Having worked with students ranging from primary school to high school (notably with Ana Cours), I specialize in personalized academic support, homework help, and exam preparation. My teaching approach focuses on active listening, patience, and adapting methods to each student's unique learning pace and needs to build confidence and long-term autonomy.
In addition to academic tutoring, I have led youth day camps and taught English abroad through humanitarian volunteer work in Indonesia. Native in French and fluent in both English and Spanish, I create engaging, structured, and encouraging learning environments.
Teaching experience
I have two years of experience as a private tutor in Lyon, working independently. I have supported primary and high school students through one-to-one and small-group lessons of 3 to 5 students, providing homework support, exam preparation, and regular progress monitoring.
I also gained teaching experience during a humanitarian mission in Indonesia, here I taught English to children through games, songs, and interactive group activities.
In addition, I supervised children aged 3 to 10 in youth day camp and designed educational, creative, and recreational activities adapted to their age and interests, while ensuring their well-being and safety.
Teaching methods
I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s level, needs and learning style. I usually begin with a quick review of previous concepts and homework to identify any difficulties and set clear objectives for the session. I then explain new concepts using simple explanations, real-life examples and tailored exercises to make learning more engaging and easier to understand.
I encourage students to practice with my guidance before gradually working independently. I provide constructive feedback throughout the session and help them develop effective study methods, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging, with the goal of helping students gain confidence and become more autonomous in their learning.
