Hello! My name is Michaela, and I'm an experienced online tutor with a BA and MA in Sociology and a strong passion for language, literature, and learning.

Since 2020, I have conducted over 4300 tutoring sessions, supporting students in English, Literature, and History. I've worked with learners aged 12 and above, including adult students who want to improve their language skills for academic, professional, or personal reasons.

I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their abilities and develop the skills they need to succeed, whether that means improving writing, preparing for exams, or strengthening their overall understanding of English and literature.

I have been working as an online tutor since 2020, primarily teaching English and Literature. During this time, I have conducted over 4300 lessons with students from a variety of educational backgrounds and levels.

My work has included helping students prepare for exams, improve their writing skills, strengthen reading/listening comprehension, and prepare for language certificates. I have also worked with adult learners who wanted to improve their English for professional or everyday communication.

This experience has helped me develop strong adaptability and communication skills, allowing me to adjust my teaching approach to each student's learning style and goals.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. I work with secondary school students, exam candidates, and adult learners who want to strengthen their English language skills or deepen their understanding of literature.

Lessons typically combine explanation, discussion, and practical exercises to reinforce understanding. Depending on the student’s goals, we may focus on reading/listening comprehension, essay writing, exam preparation, grammar, vocabulary, or conversational confidence.

I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the material. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them gain confidence in their abilities.
