Explaining English, law & history in a way that sticks—whether you’re 8 or in uni
About
I’m a law graduate with a strong background in English, legal studies, and history, and a real passion for helping students actually understand what they’re learning, not just memorize it.
As a child and young adult I moved around the world a lot, which has led me to experience and learn from several different schooling systems, such as the French, American and IB systems (which I graduated from). That’s exactly what I bring into my lessons. Whether it’s breaking down a complex legal concept, improving essay writing in English, or making historical events finally make sense, I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style using what I myself learnt from all of these varying systems.
I work with students from primary school to university level, and I’m especially good at helping those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. My approach is calm, supportive, and focused on building both skills and confidence, so you don’t just improve your grades, you feel more capable overall.
If you’re looking for someone who explains things clearly, patiently, and in a way that sticks, I’ve got you.
I speak
Teaching experience
I have tutored university level students, and helped them improve their writing, research and analytical skills. I have also tutored primary school children learning English as a second language, and have helped them gain confidence in their ability to speak the language, which I believe is the hardest part when it comes to learning a new language.
Teaching methods
My teaching method is simple: I focus on clarity, structure, and adaptation. I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, making sure you truly understand the “why” behind what you’re learning. I tailor each lesson to your level, learning style and schooling system, whether you need visuals, repetition, or real-life examples, so nothing feels overwhelming. I also place a strong emphasis on active learning: practicing, explaining concepts in your own words, and applying knowledge, especially for essays and exams. The goal is not just to improve your grades, but to help you think more confidently and independently.
