I am an experienced IB tutor and senior IB examiner with over 25 years in international education, teaching Mathematics and Physics across various curricula and levels. As a team leader and advocate for technology in education, I’m an early adopter of AI tools and innovative teaching methods. I’m passionate about helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through personalized, technology-enhanced learning experiences.

I graduated in Mechanical engineering, which gave me a strong analytical foundation that enriches my teaching of Math and Physics. My love for education and teaching inspired me to focus my career on helping students succeed. Also, having grown up practicing karate, I’ve learned the importance of dedication, patience, and persevering through challenges-values I enjoy encouraging in my students as they work toward their goals.

I have three children, and supporting them in their academic journey has helped me become even more understanding of students’ individual needs and challenges. In my free time, I enjoy fitness, hiking, walking in nature, traveling, and recently, crocheting-a creative and relaxing new hobby.

With around 25 years of teaching experience in international schools, I’ve worked with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, delivering Physics and Mathematics at various levels in classroom settings. This experience has given me deep insight into international curricula and student learning needs.

In parallel, I’ve also built a strong track record as a private tutor, working with students from the USA, Europe, China, Middle East and other regions. This tutoring work has allowed me to tailor lessons closely to each student’s individual goals, learning pace, and academic challenges, leading to significant improvement in both confidence and performance.

I tutor a wide range of courses, including IB Physics SL/HL, IB Mathematics, AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Physics C, and GCSE/IGCSE/MYP Physics and Math.

Beyond exam preparation, I also support students with Internal Assessments and Extended Essays, helping them strengthen their research, analytical thinking, and academic writing skills while fostering a deeper grasp of the subject matter.

Helping students develop problem-solving skills and think critically is at the core of my teaching. Through creativity and thoughtful methods, I aim to deepen their understanding and build their confidence.

To make complex concepts more accessible and visual, I use educational technology such as virtual labs and simulations. To increase familiarity with assessments and strengthen preparedness, I incorporate past and exam-style questions. I also encourage and teach students how to effectively utilize AI tools to enhance their learning and efficiency.

My online lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and fun, keeping students motivated and involved every step of the way.
