Hola! I'm Laura, and I'm passionate about guiding students towards academic success. Growing up in a bilingual household with a Venezuelan mother and British father, I developed native fluency in both Spanish and English. This multicultural upbringing inspired my academic journey. I pursued a degree in Politics and Spanish at Newcastle University, driven by my interest with global affairs and language. I went onto study Latin American Development Economics, completing my Master of Science from University College London. With over six years of tutoring experience, including teaching at a university in Chile, I've honed my approach to be both goal-oriented and tailored to each student's needs.

Throughout my tutoring career, I've focussed on helping students achieve their full potential. Whether it's mastering Spanish grammar or understanding Hispanic culture, I've guided students towards their academic goals with patience and dedication. My approach to teaching is characterised by engaging lessons, recognising that students learn best when they're actively involved and inspired. Beyond the classroom, I provide access to premium language learning technology and offer additional support through revision videos, ensuring that students have the resources they need to excel.
