With over tow decades of international teaching experience, Jean Claude Mangan is a highly dedicated and results-driven Chemistry educator and IB Principal Examiner. Holding a Master of Education in International Education from Endicott College (USA) and a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental Sciences, Jean Claude brings a rich blend of academic depth and practical teaching expertise to every lesson.
He has taught IB Diploma Chemistry (Higher and Standard Level), Environmental Systems and Societies, and High School Chemistry at leading international schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Senegal. I have over 20 years of international teaching experience across the United Arab Emirates, Senegal and other global contexts, specializing in IB Diploma Chemistry, Environmental Systems and Societies, and High School Science.

Currently, I serve as a Chemistry Teacher at an International School in Dubai, where I design and deliver the full scope and sequence for IB Diploma and High School Honors Chemistry. My responsibilities include lesson planning, laboratory supervision, differentiated instruction, and student mentoring for IB Extended Essays.

Previously, I taught at an International School in Abu Dhabi for more than a decade, leading IB program and guiding students to achieve high examination results. Earlier in my career, I taught at a Bilingual American School in Senegal, where I introduced students to the fundamentals of Environmental Science and Biology in a bilingual academic setting.

In addition to classroom teaching, I am an IB Principal Examiner, marking assessments (IA, Paper 1B, Paper 2 HL in French and English) for the International Baccalaureate Organization, and regularly attend IB professional development workshops to stay current with the latest curriculum standards.
