About

French native teacher and tenured member of the French Ministry of National Education, I bring over 20 years of international teaching experience across French, IB, and bilingual curricula. My most recent official inspection was graded Excellent, reflecting a consistent standard of excellence throughout my career.
Deeply passionate about literature and history, I place cultural understanding, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity at the heart of my teaching. I strive to transmit not only knowledge, but also a genuine appreciation for texts, ideas, and historical perspectives.
For over 15 years, I have successfully prepared students from French international schools in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait for key national examinations, including the Brevet (in French and History) and the Baccalauréat (French and History), achieving consistently excellent results.
My teaching is built on a strong balance between high expectations and supportive guidance. I firmly believe that trust between teacher and student is essential, as confidence fosters engagement, perseverance, and ultimately success. Creating a secure and motivating learning environment is therefore at the core of my approach.
I hold IB Category 1 training, UCL SEND certifications, and a Cavilam diploma. With 12 years of experience as a coordinator, I have led teams and developed academic projects aimed at fostering student achievement and engagement.
My approach combines academic rigor with creative pedagogy, integrating differentiated instruction, inclusive strategies, and innovative methods to build confidence, autonomy, and a lasting love for learning.

Teaching experience

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in France and internationally, including 18 years in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), where I have worked with a wide range of students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. As a tenured teacher of the French Ministry of National Education, I have developed strong expertise in delivering high-quality, structured, and results-driven instruction.
My teaching excellence has been consistently recognized throughout my career, with my most recent inspection graded Excellent, in continuity with the high standards maintained since the beginning of my professional journey.
I have worked within the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad) network in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, as well as in French international schools, gaining extensive experience in delivering the French curriculum in international contexts.
Throughout my career, I have taught both French and History, nurturing a deep appreciation for literature and historical understanding while ensuring solid academic foundations.

I have more than 15 years of experience preparing students for major French examinations, including the Brevet (in French and History) and the Baccalauréat de Français (Première level), consistently achieving excellent results. My teaching focuses on both subject mastery and effective exam techniques.
In addition, I have worked closely with prestigious local families in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, providing highly personalized academic support and adapting to diverse educational systems and expectations.
Alongside my teaching role, I have held 12 years of experience as a coordinator, with responsibilities similar to a deputy head: supervising curricula, supporting and training teachers, organizing academic programs, and closely monitoring student progress.

Teaching methods

My teaching method is student-centered, structured, and highly adaptive. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s age, level, and objectives, ensuring steady progress and meaningful engagement.
I combine a clear, step-by-step approach with interactive and inquiry-based learning strategies. Lessons typically begin with a warm-up to activate prior knowledge, followed by targeted practice, guided activities, and a final consolidation phase to reinforce learning.
I place strong emphasis on methodology, critical thinking, and exam preparation, particularly for key milestones such as the Brevet and the Baccalauréat de Français. With over 10 years of experience in exam preparation, I help students master both content and techniques, leading to excellent results.
To maintain motivation and deepen understanding, I integrate digital tools, varied resources, and engaging activities, while also applying inclusive strategies to support different learning profiles. My goal is to develop not only knowledge, but also confidence, autonomy, and long-term academic success.
