Ethan D.

I am a French student at ESSEC. I am originally from Angers, where I obtained my baccalauréat. Having been in Terminale last year, I offer lessons in SES and HGGSP, which were my two specialties. I feel comfortable teaching, having achieved an 18 and a 16 overall average as well as a 20 and a 15 in my baccalauréat.
Furthermore, I am used to teaching as I have had many opportunities to help my classmates. Informally, I have explained concepts and given advice to my classmates. On the other hand, being the eldest of a family of 3 children, I have always helped my 2 brothers with their homework, so I have a certain aptitude for homework help.
Finally, I offer Spanish lessons. I am indeed bilingual in this language, having lived for 1 year in the Dominican Republic.

Number of Hours Taught : More than 50 / Number of Students Taught : 6

I have a very pedagogical, simple and open minded approach. First of all, pedagogical because I care about helping and clarifying a concept by approaching it differently, in an original way, through analogies and illustrations. Then, simple because the goal is that by the end of a session, the student better understands the subject they were struggling with.
Finally, open minded, tutoring is a multiple learning process, I will pass on and share my knowledge just as I will learn from the students, whether through their way of thinking or doing things.
