Chana S.

My name is Chana, an undergraduate student with health studies access (LAS) based in the Paris region.
After completing a first year of access to medical studies, I continued my university path in the scientific field. I obtained my baccalauréat with honors, with mathematics, physics-chemistry, and life and earth sciences (SVT) as specialties.
As the eldest of three siblings, I developed a sense of responsibility and great ease with younger children from an early age. Having supported my little sister throughout her schooling, I know the primary school curriculum and middle school expectations very well.

Je m’appelle Chana, étudiante en licence avec accès santé (LAS) basé en région parisienne.
Après avoir suivi une première année d’accès aux études de médecine j’ai poursuivi mon parcours universitaire dans le domaine scientifique. J’ai obtenu un baccalauréat avec mention, avec les spécialités mathématiques, physique-chimie et SVT.
Aînée d’une fratrie de trois enfants, j’ai très tôt développé un sens des responsabilités et une grande aisance avec les plus jeunes. Ayant accompagné ma petite sœur tout au long de sa scolarité, je connais très bien les programmes de l’école primaire et les attentes du collège.

I worked as a nanny for a year with primary school children facing academic difficulties. This role allowed me to help them with their homework, strengthen their concentration, and support them gently.
Used to managing different personalities and situations, I know how to remain calm, adapt, and show understanding, even in more delicate moments.

J’ai déjà une expérience significative dans l’accompagnement scolaire.

J’ai travaillé comme nounou pendant un an auprès d’enfants de primaire rencontrant des difficultés scolaires. Ce rôle m’a permis de les aider dans leurs devoirs, de renforcer leur concentration et de les accompagner avec douceur.
Habituée à gérer différentes personnalités et situations je sais faire preuve de calme, d’adaptation et de compréhension, même dans des moments plus délicats.

I offer private lessons from primary school to middle school, as well as up to Year 11 (seconde) for general subjects, with a specialization in mathematics, physics-chemistry, and life and earth sciences (SVT) for scientific levels.

With me, a lesson begins with identifying the concepts not understood in class. I then go over the lesson to assess the student's understanding. If the lesson has been grasped, we work on the assigned exercises and typical exercises; if not, I explain again using simple words and ask the student to rephrase to confirm their understanding.
Sessions are based on repeating key concepts and adapted exercises.
I place great importance on listening, trust, and adapting to the student's pace. Patient and motivated, I fully commit myself to fostering their progress in a supportive environment.

Je propose des cours particuliers du primaire au collège, ainsi que jusqu’en classe de seconde pour les matières générales, avec une spécialisation en mathématiques, physique-chimie et SVT pour les niveaux scientifiques.

Avec moi, un cours commence par l’identification des notions non comprises en classe. Je reprends ensuite la leçon afin d’évaluer la compréhension de l’élève. Si la leçon est acquise nous travaillons sur les exercices demandés et des exercices types sinon je réexplique avec des mots simples et demande à l’élève de reformuler pour valider sa compréhension.
Les séances s’appuient sur la répétition des notions clés et des exercices adaptés.
J’accorde une grande importance à l’écoute, à la confiance et à l’adaptation au rythme de l’élève. Patiente et motivée, je m’investis pleinement pour favoriser sa progression dans un cadre bienveillant.
