As an engineering student at Ponts in France, I am coming to NUS for at least a year and a half to complete a master's degree and possibly continue on to a PhD.

En école d'ingénieur aux Ponts en France, je viens pour un an et demi au moins à NUS pour compléter un master et continuer sur une potentielle thèse.

I taught the two children of a family for two years, during which I helped support and/or further develop the students' skills.

The elder, who had difficulties, managed to obtain her Baccalauréat (mathematics/computer science specialization) with honors, and the younger, who was more comfortable, was able to get ahead on certain concepts and gain more ease and perspective on them.

J'ai eu les deux enfants d'une famille en cours pendant deux ans durant lesquels j'ai participé au soutien et/ou au perfectionnement des élèves.

L'aînée qui avait des difficultés à réussi à obtenir son BAC (spé maths/info) avec mention et le second plus à l'aise à pu prendre de l'avance sur certaines notions et acquérir plus d'aisance et de recul sur ces dernières

-Emphasis on exercises, but of course with the possibility of going back over the material to clarify any unclear points.
-Also rather inclined towards paper and pencil methods rather than fully digital ones (although I do use them sometimes to make it easier to understand/visualize certain concepts).
-In general, I try to understand what works well with each student, that is the whole point of private tutoring: a case by case approach!

-Mise en avant des exercices mais évidemment possibilité de revenir sur le cours pour élucider certaines zones d'ombre.
-Egalement plutôt adepte du papier/crayon que des méthodes tout numérique (même si je les utilise quelques fois pour faciliter la compréhension/visualisation de certains concepts).
-De manière générale j'essaie de comprendre ce qui fonctionne bien avec chaque élève, c'est là tout l'intérêt des cours particuliers: le cas par cas!
