The moment a student says ohhh, NOW I get it! that's my favorite part of teaching and I get there by connecting every lesson to real life. Fractions become pizza slices, business concepts become the story of how their favorite brands work and English becomes about expressing ideas they actually care about. When learning feels real, it sticks!

I've been tutoring since 2022, working with students of all ages, from little learners in Grade 1 building their foundations, right up to A Level students chasing top grades. Every child learns differently, so I create personalized lesson plans, fun quizzes, custom notes and study planners that match each student's pace and style. My sessions are interactive, engaging and never boring think games, real examples and lots of encouragement, not endless lectures.

The results speak for themselves - 90% of my students achieve top marks in their exams, and parents love that I keep them updated with regular progress chats.

A little about me I graduated with 3A*s at A Level, earned an academic scholarship, and I'm currently a top performing university student. So I know what it takes to succeed in exams, because I've recently been in your child's shoes! Outside of teaching, I'm a competitive swimmer and a public speaking enthusiast who once led events for over 1,000 people, so bringing energy and confidence to every lesson comes naturally.

I've been teaching since 2022, and my experience spans every age group from primary students to A Level candidates.

I started as a freelance tutor, teaching Grade 5 and 6 students online, creating lesson plans, study planners and revision materials, and holding regular progress meetings with parents. Since then, I've worked with two tutoring platforms, where I've taught Business, Economics and English to exam level students including preparing a batch of 20 students for their board exams and guiding 25 more through their Business and English examinations with students consistently achieving As and A*s.

I was also selected for my college's peer-to-peer teaching program after scoring the highest marks in my year where I coached fellow students using examiner reports, model answers and case timelines to help them reach the top exam bands.

Across all of this, my approach has stayed the same - personalized lessons, real life examples, engaging practice sessions and genuine care for each student's progress. The result? 90% of my students achieve top marks and just as importantly, they enjoy getting there.

Who I am & who I teach -
Hi! I'm Amna, a 3A* A Level graduate, academic scholarship holder, and currently a top performing BBA student. I've been tutoring since 2022 and teach students from Grade 1 all the way to A Levels. For younger learners, I cover all core subjects and focus on building strong foundations for older students, I specialize in Business, Economics and English.

My techniques & lesson structure
My lessons follow a simple, effective flow, we start with a quick, fun recap of the last session often a Kahoot quiz! then I explain the new topic using real life examples because when a concept connects to the real world, it finally clicks. We then practice together with questions, past papers or activities and I end every lesson with a mini summary and a clear plan for what's next. Students also get customized notes, study planners and practice materials made just for them.

My characteristics as a tutor -
Patient, energetic and genuinely invested in every student's progress. I adapt to each child's pace and learning style, celebrate the small wins, and turn "I can't do this" into "that was easy!" I also keep parents regularly updated so you always know how your child is doing. With 90% of my students achieving top marks, my goal is simple - real understanding, real confidence, real results.
