Finance graduate and PGCEi-qualified teacher, tutoring Maths, Accounting and Finance from school to university level across CAIE, IGCSE, A Level and IB since 2018.
About
I’m currently completing my MSc in Investment Management at Middlesex University Dubai, alongside a PGCEi (Postgraduate Certificate in Education, International) from Plymouth Marjon University, UK. Before this, I completed my BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, graduating with a CGPA of 3.83/4.0 and a place on the Dean’s List all four years. I studied my A Levels at Hexis College, Karachi, and my O Levels at Westminster School, Dubai.
I’ve been teaching since 2018, starting as a Teaching Assistant marking A Level Accounting papers, then moving into university-level teaching as a Teaching Assistant at IBA Karachi, where I delivered lectures and supported students during office hours. Alongside this, I’ve tutored online with academies including Valeem and Canonical Tutors, and taught Accounting at Hexis College. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across CAIE, IGCSE, A Level, Edexcel and IB, teaching Maths, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics and Sciences to students from primary through university level.

Teaching experience
5 to 10 years of teaching
I have prepared students for international math competitions like Kangaroo and others. I have tutored appearing candidates and also school going children to help them build a strong base. I have A* in my O levels and Alevels Math.
I have a band 8.0 in IELTs. I have prepared students for IGCSE board and helped them achieve A*. I also have PGCEI which helps me a great deal to tutor students as per their needs. I have also prepared students for SAT and IELTS. Moreover, I have also taught English to students who could not speak fluent.
I have tutored appearing candidates and helped them secure A* and good grades.
I have taught people appearing for ACCA and CA exams. I have also prepared appearing candidates for the IGCSE, AQA and IB board. I won the best accounting teacher award and also was a representative of my University’s accreditation process.
I myself am a business woman and business is my passion. I have tutored countless students who were appearing in the subject and also helped multiple to setup their businesses in real life.
I have been recently helping many school going children in their homework. Children love learning with me as I try to make it fun for them.
Teaching methods
I’ve been teaching since 2018, from school students to university level, so I’ve learned that every learner needs a different approach. With my PGCEi training, I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, clear steps and adjusting my pace to how each student learns best. For example, when teaching Accounting or Finance, I connect theory to real numbers and real-world examples rather than just definitions, which I’ve found helps students actually remember and apply the concept, not just memorise it. I also use regular feedback and practice questions to track progress and build confidence over time.
